YORKSHIRE GAMES FESTIVAL February 5th saw the return of the Yorkshire Games Festival, with MCV/DEVELOP in attendance for the celebration of celebrating games culture, design and production, with a host of special guests providing their expertise to advise the game developers of the future. Among the packed list of speakers this year were King’s Sabrina Carmona (pictured right with more on page 42), Mike Bithell discussing John Wick Hex (above), and Sumo Digital’s Zi Peters giving a talk on level design. As well as the talks, a number of industry experts attended an industry networking event, allowing students to get advice from the experts directly.
