Raised in the coalfields of western Virginia, Jim Lloyd now makes his home in Rural Retreat, Virginia, where he operates Lloyd’s Barber Shop, a local gathering spot for collecting and trading tunes, stories, and songs. His musical roots extend back through at least four generations of fiddlers, guitar players, dancers, and singers from the mountains of Virginia and West Virginia. Lloyd is known especially for his skills on guitar and banjo.

Joe Purdy runs a staunchly independent music career in spite of getting major TV placements and having sold over one million singles. The prolific songwriter has been invited by Pete Townshend to play with him at his acoustic Attic Series, performed at Carnegie Hall (for a tribute to Neil Young) alongside artists like Patti Smith, Glen Hanard, and Jakob Dylan, and earned critical props for his authenticity and drive to make each sound as pure on record as it is live.

Music has always been her passion, and from a young age she has been a singer, dancer, and songwriter. It is a lifelong dream and goal to pursue and do what she believes she was created and born to do: write songs that speak to the human heart.
