Synopsis/Executive Summary The report details the construction of a flash production designed to inform users of the TAFE gym about the rules and regulations and the right ways of using the equipment, the development will be undertaken over about fifteen weeks and will list a range of tools needed to take to the gym as well as ways of using the gym, there will be a quiz included in the task so that the user can make sure they understood the information given to them by the presentation. This presentation is only a prototype and will be completed with in the time frame given, after completion the presentation will be presented to the client and an assessment on wether or not to proceed with a full scale production will be completed.

1. Introduction The client is proposing to provide to customers with a digital media training product to promote the client’s fitness studio and the safe and correct use of its equipment by customers attending classes and individualised training programs. You have been contracted to design and develop an optical disc (CD/DVD) based training prototype for the product that incorporates a range of digital media technologies to create a realistic learning environment.

2. Client’s Requirements The client requires the product to show some information and images as well as some other ways that help to get the message across to the user, also the client would like something more, a Wow factor can also help the user understand and interact more with the development some of these factors are:

Simple, instructional, interactive presentation about one specific muscle. Include information on how to care for, treat, and exercise said muscle. Diagrams and images pointing out which forms of exercise benefit or harm the muscle region. Instructions on how to use appropriate exercise machines in order to strengthen the muscle. Feedback from scenario-based training exercises, i.e. explanation on whether or not the user chose the best or worst option for the scenario. Safe and correct use of equipment: technique, injury prevention, muscle knowledge, pre-workout / warm-up, disclaimers.

Forms of multimedia, including: video, audio, animation, etc… Short, simple yet effective quizzes to teach newcomers about the muscle and gym environment.

3. Targeted Audience Age and Gender: The targeted audience that this product will be aimed at is from the age group of about 18 to 60 and is useable for male and females. Skills: The Product will be designed for people who don’t have a lot of skill of experience in a Gym Environment or working with the Gym equipment. The product will not be complicated so that people with limited computer skills can use it and get the most out of what the product has to offer. Location: The Interviews and most of the content will come out of the Randwick TAFE gym, also people who wish to use this Gym must be a TAFE member, but in general people from all over can use this product to educate them selves in this work out.

4. What’s the Purpose of the Product? The purpose of this product is to develop a Multimedia Product that allows the user to gather the information needed to use the Gym in a safe and appropriate manner. The product will show the user how to manage them selves in the gym whilst obeying all the rules and regulations of any gym environment. The product will contain information such as the gym rules & requirements as well as showing the gear needed to work out in the gym eg: Towels, closed shouse, Ect.

5. Mind Mapping This is a mind map that explains some of the key ideas of the project and basic ideas as well as Wow factor and other elements.

6. The Work Schedule This is the schedule I have developed to show how long things will take to do as well as what needs to be done. This product should be fully completed with in fifteen weeks.

8. Conclusion Once this project is completed there should be a working model of an interactive learning situation that will contain useful information about using the gym in a proper manner and how the equipment should be used and maintained, before and after use.
