This means the many service and cost benefits offered by nurseled and non-medical prescribing are once again be at the top of the agenda. • Practice nurses, nurse practitioners and nurse prescribing leads • Specialists nurses (clinical nurse specialists, specialist nurse practitioners, nurse clinicians, children’s nurses and midwives) • Community nurses (community/modern matron, health visitors, district nurses, community children’s nurse specialist, community psychiatric nurses and learning disabilities) • Senior nurses (nurse consultants, senior nurses, charge nurses, sisters, managers) • Pharmacists, AHP prescribers, university lecturers and anyone with an interest in non-medical prescribing

will all benefit from this event Why do other people come along? “Being a nurse prescriber was the natural next-step for my career as a nurse. The ANP Conference gives me the opportunity to hear about the latest developments and best practice, making a valuable contribution to my CPD. In fact, it is so important that I fund my own membership and visits to the conference.” Adeline Lam-Kee, 2010

a personal invitation from Dr Barbara Stuttle CBE chair of the ANP Dear Colleagues I have great pleasure in welcoming you to our 13th Annual Conference, themed Prescribing in a changing world. The conference and professional development sessions will be both interesting and informative, with something for everyone who is fortunate enough to be able ot join us. I hope you enjoy the day and are able to take away some valuable clinical insight and knowledge to deepen your personal understanding of the key issues of prescribing within your field. This event is a learning and development opportunity for all of us. It is also an invaluable opportunity to network exchange ideas with colleagues from across the nursing and prescribing spectrum. That’s why it’s open to nonmembers of the ANP too. Each year we ask for and take on board your comments and suggestions to help create the most appropriate events for you and your development needs. Through talking to those who attended in previous years we hope we have once agian come up with an event focused on you and your colleagues needs. And of course, those who do attend will be able add their attendance certificate to their body of evidence of personal professional development. I hope you will be able ot join us . Best wishes,

Dr Barbara Stuttle
