Sector-leading Alpine property developer, MGM French Properties, is launching an exclusive luxury development, Résidence Alhéna. The development is centrally located in the family friendly resort of Flaine, part of the Grand Massif, France’s fourth largest ski area. The collection of 39 apartments provide two and three-bedroom leaseback properties, ranging in size from 62.5 m² to 84.6 m² and starting from €316,667. Résidence Alhéna breaks from the company’s traditional alpine design on the exterior to reflect Flaine’s distinctively modern characteristics, inspired by the artwork found across the resort. Internally, residents can enjoy traditional chalet-style interiors, finished with MGM French Properties’ high-specification furniture and fittings. Each apartment comes fully furnished to the highest standard. Inside, the spacious apartments emphasise warm, chalet-style interiors incorporating locally sourced stone flooring and wood panelling. Résidence Alhéna boasts an exceptional location in Flaine Forum, the central square of the resort, and direct access to the slopes. Each apartment has an individual ski locker with boot dryer, a private cellar and an indoor secured car park space. The sitting room leads onto a south-facing private balcony providing panoramic views of Mont Blanc. Kitchens come fully fitted with the latest appliances, granite worktop and wine cellar. The chalet style continues in the bedroom, with oak parquet flooring and exposed wood beams, while the fully fitted bathroom provides a vanity unit with basin and mirror and granite worktop. Designed by acclaimed Bauhaus architect Marcel Breuer, Flaine is a popular destination for families since opening in 1969 and the only resort in the world to feature works of art designed by Picasso, Vasarely, Dubuffett and Bury. Flaine is one of five resorts in the Grand Massif ski area and is situated at the peak, providing incomparable snow coverage across the ski season. The unique microclimate at Flaine is caused by the natural bowl shape of the valley and 1600m altitude. Overlooking the rest of the Grand Massif ski area, Flaine enjoys 360-degree views of the surrounding mountain ranges of Mont Blanc, Aravis and Belledonne. Snowsports enthusiasts have 64 ski runs to explore within Flaine, catering for all abilities, with sweeping gondolas for beginners and challenging off-pistes for more experienced skiers. Several ski lifts lead down to the rest of the Grand Massif ski area, where residents can enjoy 265km of pristine runs, with 25 green runs and 59 blue runs for beginners and 44 red runs and 11 black runs for experts.
