Ashley Howard of Winthrop was tabbed a USATF Jr. All-American during the 2006 season.

Radford’s Brian Richotte was tabbed a Champion of Champions in the hammer-throw at the 2006 Penn Relays.

Former Radford trackster Khadijah Conder holds the oldest record in the Big South as her time of 52.46 in the 400-meters in 2000 still stands. Coastal Carolina and Liberty are the only schools in the League who have claimed the Big South Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
