The biggest and most important event of Fitness and Professional bodybuilding in Europe. BIGMAN WEEKEND SHOW celebrates its 1st edition in Benidorm - Alicante (Spain) on July 20-21, 2018, an official championship supported by the IFBB Professional League, unique at European level and qualifier for the world-wide event of bodybuilding excellence such as JOE WEIDER MR. OLYMPIA Las Vegas. The most anticipated event of the competitive calendar, will gather the professional athletes guaranteeing the show given the level of competition that during the safest hour, all the categories in their maximum exponent. A unique weekend in which athletes and the public enjoy and feel the adrenaline of authentic competition at its highest level of professionalism. "This championship is an open inscription of its affiliation to the federation."

Benidorm: If a city has been representative of tourism and leisure at all levels, both in Spain and Europe, for several decades, that is Benidorm, a Mediterranean climate paradise. Famous for its tourist environment of beautiful beaches with a wide range of accommodation, leisure, services and catering that make it an ideal destination, both to enjoy it during the holiday season and for the celebration of congresses and all kinds of professional meetings such as the case of the BIGMAN WEEKEND SHOW event. Located in the province of Alicante, forming part of the Valencian Community and on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea, Benidorm has a privileged situation that has endowed it with a special microclimate, of sweet and temperate summers tempered by the sea breeze, which allow the enjoy a nature that has been combined, wisely, with the emergence of a modern and comfortable city. One of the most significant buildings in the city of Benidorm, an ambassador of joy in the whole world for its wonderful architecture, pioneer in the battle to conquer the European sky. It was one of the tallest skyscrapers in the old continent for years. Inside the facilities of GRAN HOTEL BALI, located 350m from Playa Poniente, the first edition of BIGMAN WEEKEND SHOW will take place in the Auditorium of Cristal. A unique building in the city equipped with facilities and audiovisual equipment prepared to make BIGMAN WEEKEND an unprecedented show in the world of fitness and budibuilding.

POSING MUSIC
The Official Athlete Registration will be conducted on Friday, July 20th, 2018.
All posing music must be on an audio CD only. The posing music must also be at the start of the CD. Each competitor must affix his name on the CD for easy identification. The use of profane, vulgar and offensive language is strictly prohibited in the posing music.

The BIGMAN WEEKEND SHOW Registration Fee of EUR 200 (Euros) will have to be paid in advance online through at PAYPAL:

COMPETITION
INFORMATION Athletes will be given a goodie bag and wristband at the registration on Friday, July 20th, 2018. This wristband has to be worn during your whole stay and will allow you in and out of the venue during the weekend. There is a special athlete seating area close to the stage and backstage. The athletes coach will be given a backstage pass. PLEASE NOTE: There will be a limited amount of extra coach passes available at the registration and they can be purchased for EUR €50,00. Those passes will allow the coach to go in and out of the venue during the weekend and will provide back tage access and the athlete allocated seating area and the Ticket. The wristband has to be worn during your whole stay. If you have any questions, please contact our team through the contact form or directly at info@bigmanweekend.com
TANNING
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Open Contest has banned all tans that can be wiped off. An official will check the tan of all athletes backstage and if the tan comes off by simply wiping, the athlete will be told to remove the tan before going on stage.

> Posing suits must be standard men’s swimsuit with at least ½ rear coverage. Suits must meet acceptable standards of taste and decency. Thongs are prohibited. > Posing suits must be one color. Fringe, wording, sparkle or fluorescents is prohibited. > Competitors must not alter the fit of the posing suit by hiking it up in the back or by pulling up the sides during Front and Rear Lat Spreads. > The following is prohibited while onstage: a. Props b. Chewing gum c. “Moon Pose” (any competitor performing this pose will be disqualified) d. Lying on the stage. e. Bumping and shoving (the first and second person involved will be disqualified). > Competitor numbers must be worn on the left side of the posing suit during the Judging and Finals. *Judges will score competitors according to the “total package”, which is a balance of size, symmetry and muscularity.

MEN´S PHYSIQUE >> BIGMAN WEEKEND SHOW | 18 ATTIRE 1, Competitors compete in Board Shorts. 2. The shorts must be above the knee in length and can be 1” below the belly button. ONSTAGE Competitor numbers must be worn on the left side of the shorts at all times while onstage. The “Moon Pose” is prohibited. Gymnastic moves are prohibited. MUSCULARITY AND BODY CONDITION Judges will be looking for fit competitors who display proper shape and symmetry combined with muscularity and overall condition. This is not a bodybuilding contest so extreme muscularity should be marked down. STAGE PRESENCE AND PERSONALITY Judges are looking for the competitor with the best stage presence and poise who can successfully convey his personality to the audience.

Competitors can compete in an off-the-rack suit. All suits must meet acceptable standards of taste and decency. 2. Competitors must wear high heels. 3. Competitors may wear jewelry. PRESENTATION Competitor numbers must be worn on the left side of the suit bottom at all times while onstage. Each competitor, in numerical order, walks onstage and performs their “Model Walk” (personal preference). The “Model Walk” is described as follows: Walk to the center of the stage, stop and do a front stance, then a full turn and do a back stance, then turn to the front again and face the judges. Length of time allowed is 30 seconds. JUDGING AND SCORE The Presentation and Comparisons are scored 100% using the following criteria: 1. Balance and shape 2. Overall physical appearance including complexion, skin tone, poise and presentation.

The Judging is scored 100%. 2. Ties are broken using the Relative Placement method.

VISAS >> EU-country citizens do not need to obtain a visa. All other countries should consult the Spanish Embassy in their country to determine if they need a visa. All National Federations could ask for an Invitation letter either to the Championship Organizer or IFBB Professional League. The invitation letter does not mean you are granted your visa. IFBB Professional League and Championship organizer are not responsible of attendants visas. An athlete, who requested and received an invitation from the IFBB Professional League Head Office or the Organizing, Committee of an IFBB Professional League sanctioned event for visa purposes and used this visa to unlawful stay in the host country or any other country, will be subjected to the disciplinary proceedings and measures. CAMERA/VIDEOTAPE EQUIPMENT >> Camera and/or videotape equipment shall be strictly prohibited in the backstage and/or dressing room areas except when used by IFBB Professional League-authorized media persons and, in any event, these devices shall be strictly prohibited in the dressing room area.
CURRENCY >> The national currency in Spain is EURO. All major credit cards are widely accepted at most major hotels, department stores and restaurants. You may be requested to show your passport.

In Spain the standard voltage is 220 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. You can use your electric appliances if the standard voltage in your country is in between 220 – 240 V (as in the UK. Europe, Australia and most of Asia and Africa).
