“Sunday morning rain is falling�

Pancakes and Waffles: 1 1/2 cup of all purpose flour 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon white sugar 1 1/4 cups milk 1 egg 3 tablespoons butter directions: In a large bowl, Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the wet ingredients and mix until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or waffle iron on medium heat and pour or scoop batter onto griddle or iron cook until both sides are brown and serve hot.

“The classic Burger� 1 pound ground beef 1 large egg 1/2 cup minced onions 1/4 cup fine dried breadcrumbs 1 tablespoon Worcestershire 1-2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 4 buns Garnishes Directions: In a bowl, mix ground beef, egg, onion, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire, garlic, salt and pepper until well blended. Divide mixture into 4 portions and shape into patty about 4 inches wide Place burgers on oiled grill on high heat. Close lid and cook burgers turning only once about 4 minutes per side. Remove burgers and cut buns to toast for 30 seconds each side. Garnish buns and place burger on top then set bun tops in place and enjoy.

“Main meal, for my main man”

Chicken Cacciatore Ingredients: 4 tablespoons olive oil 1 pound chicken legs 1 pound chicken thighs ½ teaspoon salt ½ teaspoon pepper ½ onion, minced ½ red pepper, finely diced 1 cup mushrooms, sliced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon capers, drained 1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes 1 cup chicken broth 1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves Directions: In a large skillet melt two tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and place in pan. Sear each side 3 – 5 minutes. Remove the chicken and set aside. Using the same pan melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sauté the onions, peppers, and garlic until fragrant and onions are translucent. Add the mushrooms and cook for two minutes. Add capers and diced tomatoes. Place the chicken back in the pan and cover everything with the chicken broth. Lower heat to medium and bring to simmer. Reduce heat to low and cook for 30 minutes. Garnish with fresh basil.

“Cheers to the freakin’ weekend”

“Freakshake� 4 generous scoops of ice cream Vanilla extract 2 oz Baileys strawberry liquor 1 cup vanilla icing 1 cup rainbow sprinkles 2 cupcakes 1 can whipped cream 1 cup chocolate syrup Maraschino cherries Garnishes directions: Put ice cream, Baileys, and vanilla extract into blender and blend until smooth. Spread icing around rim of glass. Put sprinkles on plate and dip rim into sprinkles. Pour chocolate syrup into empty glass. Pour milkshake into glass. Top with whipped cream, cherry, cupcake and any additional garnishes. Enjoy!
