This work presents the results collected next to the Agroindústria e Exportação Café Bahia S/A concerning the hygiene and security in the work, that had as objective to identify and to analyze the factors that can cause accidents and risks to the health of the worker. For in such a way, the research searched to determine, the frequency of employment-related accidents and illnesses related to the developed activities; to verify the preventive existence of measures and procedures. To reach the considered objectives, it was used the empirical inductive method with the boarding of the case study and exploratory and descriptive research, applying a questionnaire with the employees of the company for, to evaluate the work conditions the one that the workers were submitted, approaching on the health of the worker, the frequency of accidents and injunctions. Through the gotten data, some problems of health of the worker and cases of industrial accident had been evidenced. Thus, the safest one is concluded that it is necessary to the company to implant relative actions to the hygiene and security in the work, providing to its employees surrounding.
