WHAT IS THE BIAWC?
We at the Building Industry Association of Whatcom County (BIAWC) have been producing the Whatcom County Home & Lifestyle Show for the past 43 years. However, even those who have heard of us may not know who we really are and what we do.
The BIAWC is a trade association that represents nearly 350 small businesses, right here, in Whatcom County. We are primarily made up of home builders, re-modelers, and those affiliated with the construction industry including bankers, plumbers, architects, and so many more. Our builders include custom builders hired to build your dream home or possibly the home you will want to
live while raising your children. Re-modelers who can update your kitchen or bathroom, and green builders constructing some of the most energy efficient homes in Western Washington. We are your neighbors, we work around the block from you and we all have one thing in common – to advocate on behalf of affordable housing, housing that our children and our grandchildren can afford.
THANKS FOR JOINING US!
We live in one of the most beautiful places on earth, Whatcom County! Our show is designed to introduce you to some of the best and brightest local resources. Thank you for joining us. It is my hope that the ideas and energy you take away from this Home & Lifestyle Show are the inspiration for your great home project in 2024.

7 BIAWC | WHATCOM COUNTY HOME & LIFESTYLE SHOW 2024
We chose Nolan's Roofing after doing a lot of talking and reading of reviews. We are absolutely thrilled with the work, quality of materials, the very hard-working crew and their attention to details... They were very friendly and helpful, and had an excellent work ethic. They seemed proud of their company and the finished work. They roofed the house, garage and gazebo. The house was an unenviable job because of the pitch of the roof and number of gables, but the crew eagerly met the challenge! Overall, it was an amazing experience and we love the result. I can't recommend this company enough!! — Pat L. ” “
