You can knock on our door anytime. There are more than 700 of us at home. We see all of North Carolina as our neighborhood. While our name is new, we’ve been doing business here for more than three generations. We have over 700 associates across all three major metropolitan markets—from the Triad, to the Triangle to Charlotte, and everywhere in between. If a customer wants to buy or sell a home in North Carolina, we’re eager to lend a helping hand. After all, we strive to be more than just partners with our customers. We’re supported by the world’s most respected company. But our license plate still reads “North Carolina.” The Berkshire Hathaway name is one that many people know. It’s respected. And we’re proud that it’s part of our identity. But while our resources have grown, the faces around our office are just as familiar as they’ve always been. We have assisted thousands of people in the purchase or sale of a home, which for most of them is the largest single asset they will own in their lifetime. And in the course of doing all that business, we’ve learned the area rather well—after all, it’s also the place we call home. The tools in our garage are great for building business. Expertise doesn’t come out of nowhere. It takes work, dedication and training. Only then do you get the kind of exemplary service our sales associates are known for. Our clients know it. There’s our in-house Pathways to Success training system, the David Knox training platform that is exclusive to our company in our markets, our online LearnCenter and in-house CE classes. In fact, the Internet is where 90% of customers go for information about the home buying process. So, we built a website to equip buyers and sellers with a host of valuable resources, and we make it fully customizable for every agent. There’s an easy-to-use property search that even works via mobile for up-to-the-minute listings. The website delivers instant notifications on saved properties through our exclusive My Home Finder tool and allows sharing through text, email, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. It supplies a free Market Report based on zip codes. What’s more, the site keeps track of current mortgage rates and displays enhanced community information with a click. When it comes to driving website traffic in order to give our listings a competitive advantage, no one does it better. For customers, it’s like having an agent on hand any time they open their computer.



When it comes to finding a home buyer, we know all the popular hangouts. We’ve all heard the saying—selling a house is about location, location, location. It’s still true, but the phrase has more to do with where the buyer is located than the house. That’s why we provide marketing strategies for our sellers that reach prospective buyers on their terms, where they’re searching. The tools we use include targeted online marketing, an expert team of local sales professionals, local print media and, of course, our distinctive yard sign and seal. Additionally, we provide a number of services that are exclusive to our company, including the most comprehensive online platform available, My Home info 24•7!, and the BHHS Luxury Collection marketing program.
