Queensland Rotary Flood Appeal DG Anne Brand has set-up an energetic team under PDG Errol Wildman to lead Rotary Flood Disaster Appeal to help affected people and their properties

Joe thanked PDG Chris Wright and Allanah Wright for their support and donation for X-mas Raffle. It was a very successful fund raising event for the club. He spoke about Rotary International’s support for National Immunisation Day in India and all around the world. Program aims to immunise young children against Polio and had made a significant gains towards totally eradicating the virus. However, there is a big task ahead, as any remaining virus can respread this terrible disease. We need to support the efforts and provide help in whatever way we can.

Don Marritto has also contacted the Rotary Club in Solomon Island school. School Principal who had made earlier plans for the project has been transferred. They are working with new Principal to confirm or modify the project plans. The projects is likely to ahead as planned in June/July 2011. District Conference is to be held at The Ipswich Civic Centre on the 18th/19/20th of March 2011.
