In October, students for 3rd DBH went to Zarautz for three days and they stay in the hostel Igerain. The school said that “the students had a very good experience, where they could be in contact and have a good time, learning from the environment”. In the activities those students did, it should be remarked the visit to Zumaia., where they studied the secrets of the flysch, made a travel in the time of a geology. In the second day, the students met a locality of Zarautz, where they did a lot of activities in the round of these town. To did it, they used the method “M-learning” and with a help of the GPS and PDA they did a guided visit by Zarautz. And to finish the travel, they learned of the different ecosystems that you can find in the coast of Zarautz, as the square, the sand dunes or marsh.
In this year, students of 1 and 4 of DBH were participated in a workshop of sexology. She had some years coming to this center and the experience we trained than the students shown interest in this subject. Garbi単e Merino, psychologist and expert in sexology, is the manager of giving the course. It goes several years coming to our center and she itself indicates us that she itself has been very to taste with our pupils. We are made happy very much that like that is!!!
THE 1ST YEAR STUDENTS ENJOYED THEMSELVES IN SENDA VIVA NATURAL
DURING THE STAY THEY COMPLETED DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES: LEARN TO DISTINGUISH THE SCENT OF A WILD ANIMAL, CARING FOR ANIMALS,FEED THEM AND ASSIST IN THE WORK OF CLEANING THE STABLES.
AND THEY ENJOYED THEMSELVES IN VARIOUS ATTRACTION PARKS:
THEY CAME BACK HOME HAPPY AND EAGER TO RETURN.
We collected 4830Kg of food for Benin street children. The NGO “Jovenes y Desarrollo” was grateful to the people of Urnieta and Lasarte. In special to association “Maria Auxiliadora” of Urnieta and Lasarte and to students of Salesianos Urnieta. We collected 4830kg, been far better. The foof we recollected was destined to the proyect “Foyer Don Bosco”.
The students of DBH 2 went to the hostel Harritxulo of Oiartzun in 11, 12 and 13 of March. There they did activities in relationship with the environment and mountain as “tirolina”, climb and visited the caves of Arditurri. In the last day, they had an opportunity to played with snow and came with good taste in the mouth.
24th January 2013 10.05 - lecture: project “Hotzaldi” One person came to Salesianos to speak about the caritas project”Hotzaldi” “Hotzaldi” is a church where indigent people can sleep. There are 40 beds and 70 volunteer since 2005. It opens the 15th November and closes 31st March every year.
25th January 2013 12:00 -14:00: film: My son and I Grandson of a rugby legend, son of a rugby legend and legend of rugby, Jo Canavaro is breeding to his only son of 13 years old, Tom, in a small village of Tarn. Tom is very good at math but isn´t good at rugby. But Canavaro want that Tom played on a rugby team.

He came to the school to speak about internet, new technologies and social networks. Their security and their advantages and disadvantages.
30th January 2013 A drama made by teachers
Teachers of our school did a drama about a football match between “Real Sociedad” and “Athletic de Bilbao”.
10:00 â€“ Mass. We went to a mass in the school church that goes on about an hour. 11:00 - DBH Cross. We did a relay race in the school football field that won the 4B class. 12:00 â€“ Spanish omelet competition. All classes did an omelet with eggs, potatoes, oil and salt in the gallery and some classes did a snack.
13:15 â€“ Finished. Every one leaves school and went home.
We did a lot of competitions like: chess, football, basketball, PS3, Wii, 4 in line, queens, ping pong, mus, Basqu e ball and table football .
During the 2nd week of April students of 4th ESO enjoyed a fun-cultural trip through Catalonia.
On the way to Barcelona were able to visit the cellars of a famous brand of Cava and landscapes, of Montserrat ,
and Barcelona once been to different places such as Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter, Montjuic, Maremagnum, La Sagrada Familia, etc..
At the end of the trip have traveled to Salou to enjoy Port Aventura Park for two days.
The atmosphere between teachers and students has been great and has been a good time to "recharge batteries" ahead of the end of the course. Cristina Urdanarin
Exposure Azterkosta program has been a few days at our center. Azterkosta is an environmental education program. Through this exhibition, the Department of Environment, Agriculture and Fisheries of the Basque Government seeks to know the coastal ecosystems. ESO students have made some supplementary exercises with materials collected here.

The December 3rd we celebrated in the center the day of Basque. From 10.00 we enjoyed a good atmosphere in Basque. The school's students prepared an event with different activities: songs, theater, dance; video ... The performance was in the school theater and all were invited to enjoy it. The program:

Mari Jose GarcĂa is a psychologist specialist in drug dependence. It goes 16 years coming to our center, to work the topic of the prevention of the consumption of substances. This year has intervened with pupils of the fourth course of the E.S.O. in a workshop that has had duration of one week. Having in it counts the relevancy that has this topic between the youth we have wanted to give him another year more the space than it deserves inside the workshops that are organized in the center.
As you probably know, last March 14 began the 18th edition of the KORRIKA.
This is a race in favor of Basque that runs throughout EuskalHerria, organized by AEK.
The objective of the event is twofold: firstly, to promote awareness in favor of Basque, and secondly, to raise funds to carry out such work every day in the Basque language learning centers of AEK.
We at SALESIANOS URNIETA, we also wanted to contribute our grain of sand, so thanks to the voluntary financial contribution of students, faculty and staff of the center, we bought a mile.
We encourage you to participate, you also, in the events that we have organized for the day March 23, Saturday, the day that will pass Urnieta KORRIKA to 18.30 pm. The program is as follows: SATURDAY 23 MARCH, IN THE PLAZA DE URNIETA ETXEBERRI 16.30: workshops for children 17:15: we will meet at the plaza all who want to participate in the KORRIKA to head together to the point where we have to take the witness (come with comfortable shoes and jersey T-shirt or black)
