The 2012 Season > Hot Rods - Off the Field • #1 attended sports team in the SOKY region • The Hot Rods Official Midwest League Season Attendance of 233,208 was the Hot Rods fourth consecutive year above 230,000. • Average attendance - 3,430 per game • Bowling Green Ballpark hosted over 20 additional events including the Sun Belt Baseball Tournament, Easter Fest, WKU Baseball vs. the University of Louisville, local and regional High School baseball games, Orchestra Kentucky, Chamber events, the JDRF Walk, Buddy Walk, and more; driving an additional 20,000 guests to Bowling Green Ballpark in 2012.

Signage at the Ballpark

> Fixed Signage at the Ballpark Signage at Bowling Green Ballpark provides your business with high visibility at every Hot Rods game and every stadium event hosted throughout the course of the year. Field level placement ensures that these signs occasionally appear in TV news highlights and newspaper photos.

Scoreboard Signage

Bowling Green Ballpark offers a variety of signage opportunities based on your marketing needs. Signage opportunities exist on the scoreboard (6’ x 10’), outfield wall (8’ x 16’), baselines (2.5’ x 20’) and many other areas throughout the ballpark. Creative, exclusive and even interactive signage opportunities exist from the foul poles to the line-up and standing boards. Digital Signage at the Ballpark > Video Board The video board at Bowling Green Ballpark features a 16’ x 32’ video screen with the latest state-of-theart technology, bringing Hot Rods fans the sharpest picture imaginable.

The video board presents feature opportunities for companies such as logo placement on player headshots, instant replay and more.

> Ribbon LED Board

One of the signature features of the ballpark is a 6’ x 68’ LED message board on the left field wall. The board draws constant attention through games with out-of-town scores, stat leaders, birthday wishes, and much more. Your company message will stand out and you have the flexibility to change your message throughout the season. The board can be purchased as a single LED (6’ x 17’), double LED (6’ x 34’), or as a Home Run LED (6’ x 68’). For a unique advertising opportunity, your business can sponsor special features such as stolen bases or strikeouts. Field level placement ensures that these signs occasionally appear in TV news highlights and newspaper photos.

In-Game Entertainment > In-Game Contests & Promotions The Hot Rods entertainment experience provides fans with the opportunity to participate in unique in-game contests. Even those that wish to be spectators will be sure to enjoy these games. In addition to fan favorites such as T-Shirt Toss, Build-a-Burger, Close to Home Challenge and the Dizzy Bat Race, your company can be incorporated into the action with a custom-designed, in-game promotion. The action will be shown live on the video board with your company logo on display during the event while a public address announcement delivers your message.

In addition to in-game contests, the Hot Rods also offer association with specific plays throughout the game. Your company can be associated with strikeouts, walks, stolen bases or home runs. Each time one of these plays occurs your company logo will be featured on the Video and LED boards and includes a live public address announcement.

In-game video board commercials are a great way to reach a large amount of people at once with your company’s brand and product. In-game commercials are featured in-between innings and can be changed throughout the season as you feel necessary to meet your company and customers’ needs.

The Hot Rods Turbo Times game day magazine is a cost effective way to reach potential customers. Updated monthly, fans can pick up their FREE Turbo Times at every home game as they enter the ballpark. You can select from a variety of ad sizes and reach fans at every game. There is an initial press run of 30,000 copies.

Hot Rods pocket schedules are distributed throughout South Central Kentucky from April to August. Hot Rods pocket schedules can be found in retail stores, banks, convenience stores, restaurants and with other partners in the community. Your advertisement has far reaching recognition with over 200,000 pocket schedules distributed throughout Bowling Green and the SOKY region.

At Hot Rods games and community events, staff members pass out Hot Rods Coupon booklets to fans in attendance.
