Arnab is an amateur self-taught artist, who was born in Chinsurah, India. He finds beauty in Surrealistic and contemporary art. Throughout his life, he got inspirations from Salvador Dali, Vincent Van-Gogh, Banksy and Ice-Sot. Ella Baxter, Cocoon. Ella is a writer and artist living in Melbourne. It is an ephemeral sculpture made from eucalyptus leaves, sticks, bark and string. Before making it, Ella studied clips of insects weaving cocoons so that she could re-enact those movements as she created her own because she wanted to be as true to the process as possible. Cocoons have always been a symbol for change, and Ella made this cocoon at a time in her life when she wanted to change many things in herself. After this shot, she carried it down to the river and stuck it in a tree and visited it for days as it slowly fell apart. Chidimma Ikegwuon, Beyond Beauty. Non biodegradable plastic straws; 2X3ft. Ikegwuonu Chidimma Urunwa was born in Nnewi, Anambra state Nigeria. Having grown in an environment blessed by nature she spent most of her time appreciating nature and also being an introvert she is also indoors creating imageries. Naturally she was drawn to art; the interest was cultivated during her teenage years and further developed when she was in senior secondary school. She later furthered it in her degree program at the University of Benin, Benin City Edo state. She is a versatile artist; she works with oil colour, Acrylic, rubber straws and carpet. Her works are mostly influenced by her society, and she gets inspired by what is going on around her. Beyond beauty looks beyond the physical beauty of a female to her intelligence, which some culture have trampled on, not giving women the respect and recognition they deserve. Raised simultaneously by David Bowie and Virginia Woolf, Natascha Graham is a fiction writer, artist and screenwriter who lives with her wife in a house full of sunshine on the east coast of England. Her work, which has been shown internationally, reflects and questions western culture on a psychological level with themes related to advertising, technology and the notion of home. Her multi-facetted practice is a reflection on her translation from growing up in, and, constantly moving between two different systems. Erin Cassell, Bi-solar Disorder. Erin is a teaching Tie-dye artist and Owner of Roll Up N Dye. Her studio is located in Columbia, Maryland. Back when she created this Tie-dye piece, she felt quite out of control, fluctuating between fire and depression. She is grateful that gratitude practice, meditation, and a daughter who reminds her to look for the good, have helped her calm the storm within her mind. South African artist Sharmaine Thérèsa Pretorius (SHARM.T.P) lives in Nizwa, in the Sultanate of Oman. She is a prodigy with wild hair, loving her stay in the middle of the desert, saying it is her creative space at the bottom of Jebel Agdar Mountain, where she encodes her artwork with puzzles, music, and hidden messages and is known for her extraordinary mind. It is also where she is currently under lockdown due to the worldwide coronavirus. She was one of the first people to point out on her Instagram feed that the 'coronavirus' has perhaps been announced earlier by the comic 'Asterix and the Chariot Race' - the 37th book in the Asterix series, by Jean-Yves Ferri and illustrated by Didier Conrad, which was released worldwide on 19 October 2017. She believes all artists tap into some creative spatial knowledge dimension, be it positive or negative. Tabitha Novotny, Winding Oak. Tabitha adores the raw expression of emotion that art can provide. She herself is a visual artist specializing in photography, film, and painting. She is a horror film fanatic, a lover of old books (and their smell), who would drop anything to walk the streets of Paris in the rain. Jocelyn M. Ulevicus, Everything I’ve Done to Keep Myself Alive. Jocelyn is an artist and writer based in Amsterdam. Her work is forthcoming and published in magazines such as Dewdrop, Mindful Matter, Entropy, and Life in Ten Minutes.
