Bewdley Festival present two pieces of theatre at St George’s Hall.

The Dancing Club on Saturday 3rd March is the story of Frank and Wynn Freeman who founded their Dance Club in nearby Kidderminster in 1947. It developed into an iconic community focus and attracted all the stars of music and dance over the following decades. The production tells their story and recreates the mood and atmosphere of Frank and Wynn’s Dance Club across the years, featuring many dance and music styles.

Here I Belong on Tuesday 13th March sees the Hall set out cabaret style to celebrate Elsie's birthday. Elsie has lived here all her life. She's seen wars, weddings, elections, funerals, people coming and people going over six decades - from the coronation in 1953 to her birthday party today. The action happens all around the audience – and there will be cake!

Both shows start at 7.30pm and tickets costing £10 are available from www.bewdleyfestival.org.uk or in person from St George’s Hall café.
