A super-premium whiskey, the new expression is part of Jameson’s The Whiskey Makers Series, a range of three whiskeys, each highlighting a specific part of the whiskey making process. Using virgin American oak, seasoned bourbon and Iberian sherry barrels, the non-chill filtered whiskey carries the charred oak character with vanilla sweetness from the seasoned bourbon barrels with rich fruit flavors and a fine balance of floral and spice notes. St. Augustine Distillery has launched Florida Double Cask Bourbon, the first bourbon to be put into barrel in the state of Florida since Prohibition. The spirits in this first bourbon release range from 16 to 28 months. The distillery’s production team utilized several industry veterans to assist in this release.
