The leaves have fallen and the air has turned crisp in our beautiful state of Ohio. Soon families will be traveling near and far through the fallen snow to be with their families as they celebrate their Thanksgiving traditions. The sparkle of the holiday season is everywhere!

Don’t worry if you missed our Christmas Gathering. We missed you but we still have plenty of wonderful goodies to help to make your season bright. Be sure to bring along that holiday shopping list. PINE CONE GIFT SHOPPE

Cranberry-Almond Crunch Cookies

Dip half of each cookie in melted white chocolate and set aside until firm…and extra holiday touch.

1 c. butter, softened 1 c. sugar 1 c. brown sugar, packed 1 egg, beaten 1 t. vanilla extract

3-1/2 c. all purpose flour 1 t. baking soda 1/2 t. salt 2 c. cranberry-almond cereal crushed 1 c. chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugars together; add egg, oil and vanilla. Set aside. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Mix in cereal and chocolate chips; shape dough into one-inch balls. Place on ungreased being sheets; flatter with a fork.

Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes; cool on baking sheets one minute. Cool completely on wire racks. Makes 10 dozen.
