serves 2 155 g frozen blueberries 125 g frozen raspberries 1 banana, frozen if possible 2 tablespoons nut butter 250 ml (1 cup) Homemade Coconut Milk 1 tablespoon maple syrup 2–3 ice cubes To serve: 1 handful of blueberries 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds 1 tablespoon roughly chopped brazil nuts

Place the berries, banana, nut butter, coconut milk, maple syrup and ice in a food processor or highspeed blender and blitz until smooth and creamy. Divide the mixture evenly between two bowls and serve with the blueberries, pumpkin seeds and chopped brazil nuts.

HEALTH BOOST In Hawaii, smoothie bowls are often made with frozen açai berries – tiny dark berries that pack a real antioxidant punch. If you can get your hands on some (they can be found in good health food stores), try using them to top these bowls in place of the blueberries.
