GC Lancers Red & White No. 15 6-1 (0-0) Jim Kessler (598-467 / 34th)

The Pilots are riding an eight-game winning streak over the Lancers into the matchup, dating back to the 2007 NCCAA National Championship game. None of the current Pilots has ever tasted defeat to the Lancers. Conversely, none of the current Lancers has ever beaten the Pilots. The Pilots are 25-42 all-time against the Lancers away from home, but have never lost in three meetings in the Orthopedic Capital Center. The Lancers are led by 2010 MCC All-Conference Third Team member Duke Johnson, who is averaging 20.9 pts, 10.3 rebs, and 1.3 blks. Johnson leads the league in rebounds and blocks and ranks second in scoring. Freshman Greg Miller, a candidate for MCC Newcomer of the Year, leads the conference in field goal percentage at 73.7% and leads all freshmen with 14.7 pts, 7.9 rebs, and 1.0 blks per game. Bruce Grimm, a transfer from NCAA DI Eastern Tennessee State, is proving to be a complete player for the Lancers, averaging well-rounded numbers of 7.1 pts, 4.4 rebs, and a team-high 4.7 asts and 2.0 stls. The senior combo of Caleb Laidig and Joe Welch leads the Pilots in all statistical categories, except for three-pointers made and percentage (Ryan Benner and Kyle Ritz, respectively). The duo has combined for 26.8 pts, 12.4 rebs, 6.7 asts, 0.9 blks, 2.6 stls per game thus far.
