October 13, 2008 Dear Friends of Bethany Harrison, We are pleased to announce that Bethany has been approved as a missionary intern with The Mission Society. Internships provide much-needed help to our career missionaries. They also provide practical experience to the interns and a way for them to explore God’s long-term call on their lives. Bethany will be serving in France and working with a ministry called La Fonderie. Her enclosed letter provides more information about her vision for ministry. Missionaries with The Mission Society are given the responsibility to develop a team of partners who will commit to prayer and financial support for each term of service. We want to invite you to consider being a part of that partnership team. Bethany is seeking support for an 11-month internship. In order to cover her financial needs, she will need individuals and congregations who will pledge $25, $50, $100 a month or more toward her support needs. One-time gifts are also helpful in initial expenses such as travel and training costs. The Mission Society believes that the Great Commission is primarily the task of the local church, so we seek churches and individuals who desire to partner with us in sending people like Bethany into mission work. We encourage good communication between missionaries and their support team throughout their terms of service. Please prayerfully consider participating in Bethany’s ministry. You may use the enclosed response card to indicate your ongoing commitment. Contributions should be made payable to The Mission Society. (All gifts are 100% taxdeductible.) Be sure to clearly indicate Harrison Support #0385. May God guide and bless you as you contemplate your investment in the life and ministry of His servant. In service to Christ,

Jim M Ramsay Director of Field Ministry
