Agent Commission Payment
HOW YOU GET PAID - For presale Arthur Rutenberg Homes, commission is paid at start of construction (once foundation has been completed). A home is defined as started when one of the following occurs: •Stemwall construction – the footing is poured. •Monolithic slab construction – forms are set. •Piling construction – the grade beam is poured. •Crawlspace construction – the footing is poured. •Basement construction – the footing is poured. For model and inventory homes, commission is paid upon closing. PAYMENT SCHEDULE - Broker commission for selling an Arthur Rutenberg home is 3%. Commissions are calculated as a percentage of the Reportable Sales Price. The Reportable Sales Price is the face amount of the Purchase Agreement, less any allowances for owner provided items such as owner financing costs, landscaping, etc. For furnished model homes the Reportable Sales Price includes, and commissions are calculated on, home and lot only. (Commission is not paid for model home furnishings.)
