Nístor Bogotá, Colombia (1989)

“I’m not a geometric artist. The question for me is how to create emotions with a line, a point or a plane. Either on a sheet of paper, or in an architectural space. What matters most about the work is the silent part, the sensations that take place around it: everything that is not discursive.” Nistor studied philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Fine Arts in Rosario, Argentina. At a young age won first prize at the Rosario National Salon and her work is part of the museum's collection. Upon her arrival in Paris, Nístor was spotted at the Salon de Montrouge where she was invited three years in a row. She has had collective exhibitions in successful galleries and art centers in Buenos Aires and has participated in exhibitions of international dimensions such as "Sueños concretos" in Bogotá, Colombia and "Painting Zero Degree" at the Cranbrook Art Museum, Michigan, United States.   Her work has been shown throughout the United States and in several places in France, since she currently lives and works in Paris.
