The Commandery, Worcester Re-enactors and WAVE (Worcester Arts & Vintage Events) invite you to a Bank Holiday of 1940s nostalgia and memories with soldiers, civilians and make do and mend. Plus family activities, music and more.
On Sunday 6th, meet members of the Worcester re-enactors and enjoy our 40s canteen. On Monday 7th experience our forties fashion show ‘FASHION ON RATION’,Vintage Fair (11-4.30pm) and performances by The Worcester Ukulele Club.
Plus – on both days you can meet Doris Dinsdale the Wartime Housewife! Normal admission rates apply unless otherwise stated. Normal daytime admission to The Commandery is FREE for Worcester City Residents (on production of Council Tax Bill/Exemption Certificate)
