Steampunk at the Commandery Remember – 3rd September 1651 Saturday 1st – Monday 3rd September A weekend dedicated to this significant day in history with talks, theatre, drills, activities, puppet shows, music and the Drumhead Ceremony. Supported by The Battle of Worcester Society.

Heritage Open Days Weekend – Building The Commandery Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th September As part of this annual celebration of our heritage, find out how The Commandery was built through a series of hands on activities, talks and demonstrations.

Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd October See displays of strange curiosities, exciting contraptions with fashion and design. Goggles, pocket watches, corsets, mad scientists, contraptions, top hats, airships and more! Experience a history that never was!

Halloween Happenings and Focus on Fawkes Monday 29th October – Sunday 4th November Half-Term activities and crafts full of haunting horrors, alarming alchemy and gory goings on.

A Christmas Commandery Saturday 15th December and Sunday 16th December Celebrate in style as you take a trip back to the Commandery in Victorian times and by twinkling candlelight. Meet the Household Servants, the Ghosts of A Christmas Carol and Father Christmas. Visit the Courtyard Market, watch the magic lantern and puppet shows and enjoy trails, treasure hunts and crafts.

The Commandery, Berrows Journal, Worcester Reenactors and Wave invite you to a Bank holiday weekend of 1940’s nostalgia and memories with soldiers, civilians and make do and mend (40’s fashion show and vintage fair on Monday only).

A Jubilee Jamboree Saturday 2nd June Come dressed in red, white and blue or something typically 1952! Celebrate the Jubilee with a tea party, games and crafts. Half term Activities to make a Jubilee to remember with plenty to make and do.

Shakespeare at the Commandery – ‘As You Like It’. Tuesday 12th June – Saturday 23rd June Free pre show entry to the Medieval Great Hall. With amusing exploits and unexpected friendships, ‘As You like It’ illustrates how bewildering, yet utterly pleasurable life can be – another must-see comic romance within the walls of the Commandery’s atmospheric gardens.

Friday 17th August – Sunday 26th August Enjoy concerts, ghost walks and summer family activities at The Commandery as part of the Worcester Festival.
