In Celebration of the Commandery's association with the wool trade through the centuries; from the Tudor clothier Robert Wylde to the Georgian wool stapler Joseph Harris. The leaves and flowers can also be stitched with names to either commemorate loved ones or events and form a public knitted art installation. Materials and self help guides provided. So come 'Sit and knit some history' in this 1000 year old building. This activity will be on going throughout the year.
