The Clerk has received notification from CCC that the repairs to the Forty Foot Bank will be completed and the road is expected to be reopened on Friday 1 August at approximately 4.00p.m. Cllr Tickner confirmed that the road has re-opened.

Police Matters. The Chairperson read a report from PCSO Matt Smart. The report included information regarding the Neighbourhood Panel Meeting ; E-Cops and the Police nonemergency number (0845 456 456 4). The crime figures for July were also reported.

Planning/Development. 60 High Street – Update on Parish Assembly held on 10 July in order that an acceptable solution can be found in respect of access to the above site. Approximately 26 residents attended and the majority were opposed to the current proposals. The Highways Department will revisit their decision. The Contractors were prepared to accept Highways’ decision. Planning would come back to the Parish Council to appeal if necessary.
