ilyholt Road is one of the two websites dedicated to the village, and has been online since September 2007. On April 1st the website was given a complete makeover and redevelopment. Moving on from using Dreamweaver to create the website, it has been professionally redeveloped by Refined Line Web Development, which I run with my friend James Matthews. It now benefits from a number of great new features, and making updates to the website is even easier than before. A forum has been added, so that people can discuss events and other village matters online. I hope that it will become well used, all you need to do is sign up with an account and you can begin posting. There is a news blog which will feature regular posts whenever there is anything going on that affects the village and new updates are added to the website. You can find pages for all the village groups online and all the information

on the website has been revisited, and fully updated. New Image Galleries have been included, so there is now more photographs and they are easier to browse. There is a section of the website dedicated to the Parish council, and you will be able to find minutes and agendas on there for meetings, as well as contact details. A special banner was painted by Lyndsey Green (www.lyndseygreen. co.uk) and features some of the main landmarks of the village. The website also features a great collection of artwork by local artist, Anita Davies. If any other local artists would like their paintings of Benwick featured on the website, I would love to have them. As with the Bugle, all suggestions, comments and contributions are hugely appreciated. www.lilyholtroad.co.uk
