Each of our Recruitment Consultants is expertly trained in a specialist sector of the industry, meaning we are able to quickly identify the best person for your job role.

Contact Oscar Recruitment with any vacancies you have that need to filled. You can contact us directly via phone or email or upload the vacancy on the website. We will then go through the full requirement, and start a search for the correct candidate. We use our database and also the industry job boards to contact the people who fit the best profile. We run through a series of filters with the candidates to make sure that they are the best and the role is the best for them. Only when we have done this will we send the details to the client to get their feedback as we know that time is precious. We then arrange the interview stages and manage both sets of feedback and make sure everyone is on thge same page. If there are multiple interviews we will manage those also and the next stage of feedback and leading to offer or rejection. Then we will deal with everything involved in finalising contracts and getting a start date and making sure all the i’s are dotted. This is a process we work very hard on keeping simple for you but requires lots of work we are trained for.

Contractor Care Team: The Contractor Care Team was created in order to improve the service given to our contractors and help with the on-boarding process. This is a benefit to everyone involved and helps the process be a lot smoother. The Contractor Care Team take over once the Recruiter has placed the contractor with a start date. The Consultant will notify the contractor of the placement and also then introduce the CCT and the process that will happen next. This stage starts with the actual contract of employment and all of the relevant details and required by both parties including all financial details. Our contractors are now able to receive more frequent and consistent care, as well as a single point of contact for anything they require throughout the duration of the contract. The Contractor Care Team help with any questions about potential extensions, invoices, timesheets and payment processes, along with any other questions they have. The CCT can be contacted on their own dedicated email CCT@oscar-recruit.com which is monitored by the whole team.

One of the most unique parts of Oscar is our quality driven School of Excellence programme that all members of our recruitment population attend. The SoE presents new trainees with a dedicated overview of recruitment based around core main aims; identifying, nurturing and rewarding home grown talent. As a result, over the past 12 months 17% of our consultants were promoted to senior status. The promotion structure is completely meritocratic to ensure that opportunities to progress are based on effort, attitude and ability, rather than limited by organisational structure. Our in house training manager – in place since 2012 – is a constant form of support for our Consultants on the shop floor. The SoE training revolves around a 14 step programme, which aims to develop a trainee’s skills in both resourcing and retaining candidates and clients. The training uses a mixture of theory and practical lessons, ensuring that trainees learn all of the necessary skills to succeed. In the last year, we have invested in an external training programme for Managers. This is beneficial for their career development, as well as the development of their team, and will give them an official accreditation within the industry.

Our Team

A bit about our Team and Directors With over 50 members of staff over the two offices, Oscar are working to maintain a solid core staff and bring in and train the best recruitment team within the Technology and Energy sector. Over the next few years, our plans are to grow Oscar Recruitments services across the UK and the USA by nurturing our current customer accounts, increasing our knowledge of our client base and also developing new business opportunities. This also includes enhancing our candidate attraction model, through traditional means, as well as working in the local candidate communities to attract professionals via networking and meet ups.

Andy leads Oscar’s global management team, collaboratively creating vision, providing guided direction, and being ultimately responsible for all facets of the business.

As Sales Director, Matt has responsibility for the performance of Oscar’s contract and permanent Technology Divisions, mentoring them on delivering first class staffing solutions.

Kevin started his recruitment career as a Trainee at Oscar Technology back in 2010 and has progressed up the career ladder to his current role of Associate Director. Based in our Houston Office, Kevin leads the US Technology Recruitment team.

Andy has introduced new standards, processes, procedures and a platform for success.
