the human race has already consumed 30% of the world’s non-renewable natural resources and we are using 30% more than the Earth can replenish each year. This is leading to deforestation, degraded soils, polluted air and water, and dramatic declines in numbers of fish and other species. the problem is getting worse. populations and consumption keep growing faster than technology can find solutions to support them. this had led the report to predict that by 2030, we will have exhaused 70% of the earth’s fossil fuels and mankind would need two planets to sustain its lifestyle.
