These are  my  initial  drawings  for  possible  designs.  These   nets  wasn’t  planned;  I  thought  of  idea’s  that  I  could  use  for   my  packaging.  From  these  concept  idea’s  I  will  create   similar  or  identical  drawings  on  digital  software.  The   advantages  of  using  software  is  its  more  accurate  and   editing  or  tweaking  each  net  will  be  easier

This type  of  packaging  is  made  from  two  halves;  the  base   and  the  lid.  One  of  the  two  parts  of  this  packaging  will  need   to  be  slightly  larger  so  there  is  a  visual  different  between  the   lid  and  the  base.     The  packaging  is  normally  glued  together  into  shape  with  the   single  tab.  The  overall  packaging  interlocks  quite  tightly  but   does  not  close  well  enough  to  contain  very  small  objects.

Food Packaging

This type  of  packaging  is  held  together  by  interlocking  tabs  only;  when   these  packages  are  mass  shipped  they  are  flat  and  by  folding   particular  tabs  to  make  a  strong  and  secure  package.  This  type  of   packaging  is  normally  used  for  warm  foods  and  decorated  on  the   exterior  with  the  company  logo  and  branding.  The  reasoning  into  my   interest  in  this  type  of  packaging  is  its  ease  of  assembly  and  because   my  packaging  will  incorporate  recyclable    features;  it  being  easy  to   disassemble  could  be  a  feature  I  would  like  to  incorporate

Triangular Shaped

This package  is  quite  unique  and  rarely  used  but  provides  an   attractive  whilst  unusual  means  of  packing  a  variety  of   products  or  items.  This  type  of  packaging  can  be  decorated   directly  with  brand  logos  but  there  is  also  the  option  to  cover   it  with  printed  paper.

Windows within  packaging  is  very  effective  for    attracting  an   audience  due  to  the  possible  consumer  being  able  to  see  the   items  they  may  buy.

Being able  to  draw  and  experiment  whilst  collecting  important  data  for  my  project  is  something  I  quite  enjoyed   but  the  variety  of  packaging  that  I  produced  was  great  and  its    acknowledging  its  uses  swell  as  the  pros  and   cons  of  each  packaging  gives  me  the  relevant  information  lets  me  broaden  my  view  towards  possible   packaging  idea’s  and  how  it  will  positively  effect  the  branding  of  my  product.     The  packaging  that  I  used  for  my  initial  designs  may  have  to  be  tweaked  or  scraped  due  to  it  not  being  suitable     for  the  type  of  products  that  will  be  placed  within  it.  The  primary  objective  is  to  ensure  20  tea  bags  fit  within   the  design  and  some  of  those  nets  wont  be  suited  for  that  purpose.    From  here  I  will  do  more  research  into   packaging  and  develop  nets  suitable  for  my  packaging.   Having  windows  within  my  packaging  would  make  the  packaging  more  unique  and  noticeable  but  for  the  type   of  products  this  packaging  will  be  storing  windows  wouldn't  be  needed;  the  tea  bags  itself  haven't  been   changed,  they  are  the  standard  sizing  so  showing  tea  bags  that  are  of  the  same  design  and  sizing  wouldn’t   sway  the  consumer  to  purchase  the  item  and  for  this  reason  for  my  final  packaging  I  wont  include  a  window.
