The interest arises from a particular attraction for the interior architecture, for the question of living and spaces on a human scale, specifically for “small� spaces, which in recent years are progressively freeing themselves from every negative meaning, gradually becoming appreciable or even desirable, prompting more and more designers to realize small-sized houses with increasing enthusiasm. The theme is born during the Modern Movement, and goes up to the contemporary, with lines of experimentation and design research from which to draw innovative forms for living spaces today in places, societies and cultures very different from each other. What can be considered emblematic examples, modern and contemporary, of this type of architecture?
