Welcome Our New Administrative Assistant

By Michelle Nava and William Burnett We have a new administrative assistant, Mr. Morris. Before he changed into this position, he worked at L.C in Junior study hall, but before that, he was A.R.R and I.S.S instructor here at Belzer. He also worked with Mrs. Williams in A.I.S for a semester. Mr. Morris was a staff member at Belzer for 6 years before coming back to work here from LC. When he knew about this open spot he applied. He likes this position better because he gets to work closer with students. His favorite part about being administrative assistant is, “Building relationships with students and helping solve problems big or small, he said. He changed into this position because its a more active role for him. Our past administrative assistant was Mr. Fox. He currently moved to China. Mr. Morris plans on staying here at Belzer for a while.

Bio Miss. Broadus--Intern at Belzer

By Jordynn Martin and Ronnda Smith Miss. Broadus was born August 8th, 1994. Her father was in the military, so she was in a lot of schools. The ones she went to in Indianapolis are CrestView Elementary, Craig Middle School, and Lawrence Central. The things she loved most about high school was the football games. When she attended LC they made it to state and played at the Lucas Oil Stadium . In the next five years Miss. Broadus would like to be an elementary school counselor. The reason she went into counseling is that she wanted to help children on a social/emotional level not just academically. She wanted to give students the support, encouragement and advice that she felt she didn't have in school. Miss. Broadus enjoys trying new restaurants and getting her nails done. The one place she would love to go would be Greece because she saw cool pictures and has heard some celebrities have been there. Miss. Broadus has been enjoying working at Belzer. A middle school is the last place she thought she would ever work, but she is happy that this is her first experience. 6
