Competing against eighteen JUMP TO FILE# other volunteer fire 092016106 departments from Nassau and Suffolk Counties at the Hagerman Fire Department’s train-ing facility on September 3rd, the Flying Dutchmen placed in five of the eight events com-peted to earn a total of twenty-two points for their day’s efforts, six ahead of the Islip Wolves and Bay Shore Redskins who tied for second place honors with sixteen points apiece. The North Lindenhurst Piston Knockers ended in fourth overall with fourteen points and the East Islip Guzzlers fifth with a point count of thirteen.
