Why nozzle control is a big deal W ITH ITS 48.5m boom and 1,000 ha/day spraying speeds, HARDI RUBICON could challenge conventional rate control technologies.
But by managing up to four nozzles per nozzle body, HARDI H-SELECT delivers tip-to-tip accuracy at almost any speed – turning, accelerating or just eating up the acres. H-SELECT also lets you set and adjust a precise droplet size via your in-cab run-screen, to minimise drift. It all adds up to more effective, efficient spraying under a wider range of conditions. PLUS order RUBICON in May 2019 and HARDI will fit H-SELECT as an added bonus worth up to $50,000 (inc. GST)... and that’s a big deal! H-SELECT

Designed for Australian broadacre farming and built in Adelaide, HARDI RUBICON combines 6500 or 9000 litre tank options and a choice of 36.5m or 48.5 m booms. Increased coverage and fewer refills means RUBICON can cover 1,000 hectares a day – a level of productivity that smaller capacity sprayers simply can’t match.
With H-SELECT Turn Compensation
Without Turn Compensation
HARDI’s specially engineered RUBICON boom centre provides incredible boom suspension, stability and AutoHeight control. RUBICON’s superb boom ride allows you to maintain a lower boom height with no more risk of ground strikes. This helps to optimise your spray application and drift control, even at higher spraying speeds.

What’s happening in our branches Swan Hill
It has been a very dry start to the year to date with most areas receiving below average rainfall, however it was promising to see some good rainfall recorded around the region in early May. We hope this is a sign of positive things to come for the rest of the year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients for their continued support despite the dry start to the season, we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to service and repair not only the brands we supply but also a large range of other machinery. Your continued support and increased business have led to further opportunities for our employees. Matthew McDonald has been promoted to Workshop Foreman; this role has extended Matthew’s experience in the Agricultural Industry with further training opportunities adding extra specialised skills to enhance his newly found role. Our service team has also continued to grow with the employment of a new 1st year apprentice, Micah Bramwell. Micah is a young, enthusiastic junior who is enjoying learning about the agricultural environment and is currently undertaking his apprenticeship at the newly appointed CNH dedicated facilities in Wagga Wagga. We have also added a new recruit to the Parts team Lucas Allan. Lucas is a local to the Swan Hill Region. He currently resides in Myall and his knowledge of the local area is a valuable asset to the Belle-Vue team. I would like to thank all of our loyal clients for their continued patronage and look forward to seeing you all at the Mallee Machinery Field Days, call into our site to view the latest products available and to have a chat with the Belle-Vue team.
With the cropping season nearly complete, the team at Belle-Vue Trading and I would like to thank all of our valued clients for their support and business in the first half of the year. The team in Warracknabeal have seen a busy first half of the year with pre-deliveries of air seeders, tillage equipment and boom sprayers as well as lots of second hand stock moving through the workshop. Obviously without their professionalism and prompt service, none of this would have been achievable, so a massive thank you must go out to all staff. The year so far has been less than wet to say the least, with long range forecasting set to be in the spot light, I think it’s fair to say we are all hoping for muddy boots and full rain gauges. The football and netball season is in full swing and I hope all clubs sponsored by Belle-Vue Trading are doing well and are having a successful year so far. At Belle-Vue Trading, we are very community minded and like to see local money, stay local. In closing, I would like say how proud I am of all people in and around Belle-Vue Trading, including all valued clients and staff. To live and work in rural locations as we do, takes a great deal of resilience and perseverance, which at times can be testing. The spirit of the bush is a great thing and will always be tested, but people like yourselves, will always stand tall and push through hard times. Kind Regards, Justin Ward
Kind Regards, Daniel Webster

Kuhn Axent 100.1 Rethus Broadacre is a family run large scale broadacre operation based near Horsham in Victoria’s Wimmera. Prompted by the need for greater productivity and the desire to reduce time lost due to regularly refilling Rethus Broadacre recently upgraded to a new Kuhn Axent 100.1 Trailing Spreader from Belle-Vue Trading Warracknabeal. “We had a deficiency in our farm in that we were constantly driving back to top up. One of the key things we were looking for was capacity” explains Tim from Rethus Broadacre when discussing why he made the choice to upgrade to the Axent 100.1. The Axent 100.1 boasts a large 9,400L capacity which is approximately two and a half times greater than Rethus Broadacres’s previous linkage spreader. Tim also states “we wanted something that actually still had the sophistication of the linkage spreaders” which is a feature the Axent 100.1 offers. It has the ability to spread at low rates while still being consistently accurate at 36m – a significant attribute for controlled traffic programs. The Axent 100.1 is the only spreader on the market fitted with independent left/right application rate regulation. Every second the EMC adjusts the metering outlet position according to the torque measured on each speeding disc, ensuring 100% of the fertiliser dose spread on each side. The Axent 100.1 also offers the ability to spread lime and gypsum through its Lime Powerpack which is interchangeable with the Axis Powerpack which is used to spread urea. When discussing the Axent 100.1 and the Lime and Axis Powerpacks Tim stated “we do a lot of gypsum spreading every year and being able to combine that in to the one to subsidise the cost a bit made it more attractive.” “The good thing about the Lime and Gypsum pack is because it’s with the computer control that Kuhn have in there, it’s also variable rate so it’s very easy to bolt it on and put a variable rate map in and start variable rate gypsum. Whereas some of the other models it’s mechanical adjustment so it’s not quite as simple.” For more information on the Kuhn Axent 100.1 contact the Sales Team at your local Belle-Vue Trading branch – Swan Hill and Warracknabeal - or to hear more from Tim of Rethus Broadacre about his experience with the Kuhn Axent 100.1 visit the BelleVue Trading YouTube channel.
