Graduated scales and mechanical locking mechanisms for precision aim also allow users to regulate inclinations with more precision, securing the fitting both on a horizontal plane and on a vertical axis and keeping it stable once the direction of the light beam is decided upon. Maintenance is made easier via the use of the same tool that blocks the aim once the direction of the light beam is set.
