Karamo Brown By Amanda Mactas

Burberry Cashmere and Wool Blend Bomber Jacket $2,190, MrPorter.com

What’s your favorite thing about your job? Helping people find their confidence and best selves. And getting to positively affect people in areas of the country and world that I never would otherwise have the chance to—there’s nothing like it!

Favorite item in your closet: Easily my bomber jackets are my favorite. I have so many different variations on the classic jacket and really feel like bombers are the perfect way to allow you to dress up or down. As you know, they’ve become a staple for me!

Favorite winter activity: Snuggling up under a blanket and watching a movie.

Bucket list vacation destination: It was Hong Kong, which I recently had the amazing opportunity to visit. The food was great, the people were great, and there were so many rich cultural experiences. It’s one of those places when you go, your mind is just expanded in so many different ways.

Who are some of your style icons? It’s hard to say I have one “icon,” style should be individual; wear what makes you feel happy and beautiful. So I guess, basically, it’s Beyoncé. Favorite song on your playlist right now: Depends on the time of day! “Strength Courage & Wisdom” by India Arie to start my day, and “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé to end it! Favorite food to pair with your Hendrick’s Gin cocktail: Blue cheese-stuffed olives and a classic Hendrick’s martini–divine! 34

Favorite indulgence: Since I’m allergic to chocolate, I make up for that by going crazy for candy! Favorite cocktail: Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic. It’s simple and delicious, and adding a cucumber garnish instead of a lime brings out the beautiful flavors of the spirit and takes the cocktail to a whole new level.

You’ve come to know him as part of “The Fab Five” of the smash Netflix success “Queer Eye” as the show’s resident culture expert. Karamo Brown has made an impression as an empathetic and openminded person, bringing people together and inspiring viewers, as well as those he mentors on the show. Now, he embarks on a partnership with Hendrick’s Gin, a brand that similarly celebrates uniqueness and self-expression. Karamo TheUnusualTimes
