Coconut oil is fabulous when used as a face mask because it is amazing for dry skin and can effectively treat acne. This face mask is great if you have acne prone skin: INGREDIENTS 1 tbsp. coconut oil 3 tbsp. oatmeal Warm water

DIRECTIONS: • Place oatmeal into a bowl and add warm water. The consistency should be paste-like. • Mix in coconut oil and stir well. • Apply mixture onto face and leave on for 15 minutes. • Rinse and dry your face with a towel.

NATURAL ENERGY BOOSTER. Coconut oil will give you an energy boost when you need a mid-afternoon pickup, or after a strenuous workout. Add 1 tsp. to a smoothie.

INGREDIENTS ¼ cup of baking soda ¼ cup of arrowroot powder 4 tbsp. coconut oil (melted) ¼ tsp. essential oils DIRECTIONS: • Mix all ingredients together. • Melt the mixture into an empty deodorant container so it’s easier to apply.
