NYC ARTIST SPOTLIGHT
There are millions of successful businesses throughout the world today, but the lack of a strong mission can cause even the most fortuitous company to run aground. For TallOrder.com founders Dan and Mike Friedman, family, kindness, and compassion not only drive their business, but also inspire them to grow as individuals.

Born and raised on Long Island, Dan and Mike Friedman have always been recognized for their size. Currently standing at 6’9” and 6’11”, it is no surprise that the brothers were dubbed the “Twin Towers” at an early age. Unfortunately that nickname would no longer stick when the boys found out their father, Andrew Friedman, had lost his life in the 9/11 attacks. Despite the many difficulties they faced, the Friedman family received an incredible amount of aid from their community and a number of charities as well. The abundance of love and support not only helped comfort Dan and Mike in their time of need, but also encouraged them to find a way to give back to the many individuals responsible for their recovery. With that in mind, TallOrder.com was created and officially opened for business in September 2017. TallOrder offers a fresh new take on socks for those with large-sized feet. The brand not only delivers a fun and stylish product, but also donates 10 percent of its profits to Tuesday’s Children, a charity that played a significant role in the lives of the Friedman family. Ranging from shoe sizes 12-20, TallOrder provides a comfortable fit for all. The socks are constructed using 3-D printing technology, which transfers its many unique patterns and vivid colors onto premium fabric. Work or play, these socks can embellish just about any outfit, and the breathable and longlasting material makes them easy to wear all day.
