Round It

Comes Again!

W

hat happens when you decide to put together a bunch of ten young people from eight different churches? They end up getting their church-mates together to play captain’a ball. The idea first arose among the leaders who met each other the first time at Methodist Young Leaders’ Conference (MYLC). And that passion became reality on 4 Jan 2014 3pm when more than 150 youths and young adults met together at Clementi Town Secondary School to fellowship with one another. The churches

represented were Telok Ayer CMC, Paya Lebar CMC, Bukit Panjang MC, Queenstown CMC, Yishun MM, Hakka MC, Hinghwa MC and Toa Payoh CMC. Instead of the usual church versus church competition, the participants were all divided into different groups from different churches. This allowed for more fellowship and interaction with one another. Of course, that does not reduce the intensity with which the young people play at. Every ball was chased down enthusiastically and every block done energetically. It was

great fun, even for those who were just audience!!! The Board of Youth Ministry gives a bug kudos to the young leaders of Group 5 MYLC for this ground-up initiative.
