ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 1 year: 3 GCSEs grades 9–3 or A* – D including English and maths OR Motor Vehicle Maintenance at Level 1. 2 years: 3 GCSEs maths, and a keen interest in motor vehicle mechanics. Other relevant levels of qualification or experience will be considered. WHAT WILL I STUDY? You will study a range of topics through both theory and practical work including health and safety, vehicle system skills, engines, use of tools and equipment, vehicle maintenance, brakes, ignition, fuel, exhaust, steering, electrics and suspension. You will work towards the City & Guilds VRQ units as appropriate. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL I GAIN? • L ight Vehicle Maintenance City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma (1 year) AND • English and maths qualifications if required ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS?
