1 year: Plastering Level 2 Diploma with English and maths or equivalent.
2 years: 3 GCSEs grades 9–1 or A* – G including English and maths, and a keen interest in plastering.

You will cover areas such as cost and materials management and the maintenance and use of specialist tools. WHAT COULD I DO NEXT? This study programme will prepare you for progression on to the Plastering Level 3 study programme or an apprenticeship.
This programme will develop complex plastering knowledge and skills, in addition to preparing you for first line supervisory roles within the construction industry. There are two separate pathways (Optional Units Group A and Optional Units Group B). Mandatory units include: principles of organising; planning and pricing construction work; running in-situ mouldings and health safety and welfare in construction. Optional Group A units include: applying plastering material to detailed interiors; and applying plastering materials to detailed exteriors. Optional Group B units include: producing reverse moulds for detailed fibrous plaster and cement casting; and producing and fixing detailed fibrous plaster and cement casts.
