1 year: Bricklaying Level 1 Diploma with functional skills.

1 year: Bricklaying Level 2 Diploma with English and maths or equivalent.

2 years: 3 GCSEs grades 9–1 or A* – G including English and maths and an interest in construction.

Other relevant levels of qualification or experience will be considered. WHAT WILL I STUDY? You will learn a broad range of bricklaying skills and techniques that will make you attractive to employers in the construction industry. You will develop your practical skills and knowledge through different units, learning how to construct a range of projects as well as cost and materials management. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL I GAIN? • Bricklaying Skills Level 2 Diploma • Health, Safety and Environment (CSCS) Test AND • English and maths qualifications if required

You will develop complex bricklaying knowledge and skills, in addition to preparing you for first line supervisory roles within the construction industry. The qualification covers; principles of organising, planning and pricing construction work, repair and maintenance of structures, constructing radial and battered work, carrying out decorative and reinforced brickwork, constructing fireplaces and chimneys and health safety and welfare in construction. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS WILL I GAIN? • Bricklaying City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma • Health, Safety and Environment (CSCS) Test AND • English and maths qualifications if required ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS?
