1 year: 3 GCSEs grades 9–3 or A* – D including English and maths OR a relevant qualification at Level 1.

2 years: 4 GCSEs grades 9–4 or A* – including English and maths OR Travel & Tourism at Level 2.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

You will gain an understanding of the travel and tourism industry through a range of units such as: tourist destinations; customer service in travel and tourism; marketing and organising a travel and tourism event. You will also be required to attend tutorials, complete work experience and study employability skills.

You will investigate the development of the travel and tourism industry both in the UK and the rest of the world. You will look at worldwide tourist destinations and their appeal to different customers. You will also have the opportunity to gain Resort Representative (year 1) and Cabin Crew (year 2) qualifications as part of your study programme.
