Careers Guidance Our professionally qualified careers advisers provide impartial, confidential advice and guidance to help you: ·· decide what you are going to do next ·· explore your options in education, training and employment ·· develop career management skills ·· put your plans into practice. If you are looking for information or have a quick query you can drop in to the Student Services Help Desk where we have lots of up to date information an adviser may be able to help you immediately. You can also visit the Student Services website at to find more careers related information or to Ask a Careers Adviser. There is a virtual careers library on the website, as well as information on live job vacancies and a range of career software. For more in-depth advice and guidance, careers interviews are available by appointment. UCAS Support If you are on an Access course or wanting to progress on to a ‘top-up’ at the end of your higher education course at College, we will give you all the help and guidance you need to make the right choice. When it is time to apply, the advisers in Student Services, together with your tutors, will support you every step of the way through the process, including the UCAS online application system and applying for student finance.
