Ewa Rewers

(b. 1980) – architecture critic, architect by education. Curator (alongside Rob Wilson, RIBA) of the exhibition OPEN:POLAND. Architecture and Identity (London 2009). Curator (alongside Jarosław Trybuś) of the exhibition Hotel Polonia. The Afterlife of Buildings in the Polonia Pavilion, honoured with a Golden Lion at the Venice Architecture Biennial in 2008. Since 2005, content-editor of the “Architektura Murator” monthly.

(b. 1952) – Professor, Dr hab., Director of Urban Culture Department at the Institute of Cultural Studies of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Deals with aspects of contemporary cultural spaces – mainly in the city. Author or co-author of books: Język i przestrzeń w poststrukturalistycznej filozofii kultury [Language and Space: The Poststructuralist Turn in the Philosophy of Culture], Post-polis. Wstęp do filozofii ponowoczesnego miasta [Post-polis. Introduction to the Philosophy of Postmodern City], Pojednanie tożsamości z różnicą? [Reconciliation of Identity and Difference], Przestrzeń, filozofia i architektura [Space, Philosophy and Architecture], Man within Culture at the Threshold of the 21st Century, Nowoczesność po ponowoczesności [Modernity after Postmodernity], Sztuka – kapitał kulturowy polskich miast [Art – Cultural Capital of Polish Cities], Miasto w sztuce – sztuka miasta [City in Art – Art of the City]. Research secretary of the Presidium of the Committee on Cultural Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences.

Agata Pyzik (b. 1983) – studied American Studies, Philosophy, History of Art at the Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in the Humanities at the University of Warsaw. Deals with literary, artistic, film and cultural critique. Published texts in “Lampa”, “Gazeta Wyborcza”, “Literatura na Świecie”, “Fluid”, “Obieg”, “Glissando”, “Dwutygodnik”, „Przekrój”. Translator and blogger (nuitssansnuit.blogspot.com). Permanent collaborator of Bęc Zmiana Foundation and “Notes na 6 Tygodni” since 2009. She is preparing, among others, a book with conversations with people of the art world. Commutes between Warsaw and London.

Katarzyna Roj (b. 1980) – graduate of Art History at the University of Wrocław, Ph.D. Thesis in philosophy in preparation. Worked as a journalist for the Cultural Section of “Gazeta Wyborcza” in Wrocław. Co-operated with the WRO Center for Media Art Foundation. Active in numerous exhibition projects in Poland and abroad. In 2007 started running the Design gallery (BWA Gallery Wrocław). www.bwa.wroc.pl
