For this documentary I decided to take photographs at two Bus Stations which I use regularly on my journey to and from Leeds. There were several reasons for this, one of which is that I am familiar with the layout of the bus stations, and I could easily access both of them. Another reason, was that there is such a wide variety of people from different ethnic groups, different social groups, and of course, a wide age range. All these people are just going about their lives, and are sometimes, in their own world. I wanted to capture this, and I think I have been successful in doing this. The photographs were taken at different times of day, and also on weekdays and weekends. This has enabled me to take photographs during busy periods, and quiet periods to show Bus Stations in various stages of the day and week.
Taken at Leeds and Bradford Bus Station.
