WOODEN PECANPALS Peacanpals is a range of wooden designer toys by husband and wife duo Nick and Candy, who work collectively under the name Noferin. Pecanpals are made from 100% sustainably harvested rubber tree wood that would otherwise go to waste. Noferin creates each batch of Pecanpals in limited, collectible editions. The original painted Pecanpals are completely sold out. Each one is completely unique due to the wood grain. As the couple drew the characters more, they became attached to them, with each character evolving to have their own distinctive personality. When the couple produced their first batch of 1000 limited edition toys, they hadn’t hoped for much. The toys sold out within 24 hours. JIBIBUTS Jibibuts are also created by husband and wife duo Nick and Candy. Jibibuts were released in 2009 and are stocked by leading museums, galleries, art, design and gift boutiques worldwide. There are12 to collect plus 2 extra special rare gold or silver editions. They are between 2.5 – 3.5 inches in height. Jibibuts are made from sustainably harvested rubber tree wood that would otherwise go to waste. Rubber trees are planted for their rubber but after about 20 years, their rubber yields start to diminish. They use this beautiful wood for all the wooden products, thus saving it from the fire pit.
