Dolce Vita Homes builds an average of 250 homes per year. Our product line spans all market segments from entry-level multi-family, greenfield single family, and luxury estate. We are dedicated to creating homes of spectacular beauty, character and quality, putting a priority on commitment to customers and environmental integrity.

InHouse by Beaverbrook is our multifamily division focused on high and mid-rise residential and mixed-use projects. Our mandate is to build innovative projects that create liveable urban lifestyles with emphasis on design, amenities, and the relationship between the two. We provide customers with intelligently designed and functional living spaces.

Beaverbrook Commercial creates and manages a portfolio of office and retail income producing properties with a focus on maximizing yield of long term assets for investors.

When George thinks about his childhood community, it’s the after-school street hockey games that he remembers most. He and his friends never had to leave the neighbourhood for amusement. They always had interesting places to explore, and they felt comfortable and safe. For George, this is what characterizes a great community; a place that provides its residents with amenities and attractions required for everyday living. A place people are proud to call home.

A CPA with over 25 years’ experience, Stew literally started Dolce Vita in his den a decade ago, growing the company into one of the most respected and well-recognized builders in the industry. As our CFO, Stew is building a holistic platform of growth across our divisions. His long list of achievements include establishing Dolce Vita as a market leader in customer experience recognized by Customer Insight, Professional Home Builders Institute and JD Power as well as using his process diligence and financial acumen to help the company thrive through a wide range of market cycles.

George sets strategic vision for Beaverbrook, identifying new development opportunities, and devising the financial strategies to make them happen. George gives Beaverbrook’s partners peace of mind by ensuring the growth of their investments. A natural mentor with a knack for seeing past the impossible, George inspires his team to collaboratively deliver great projects. Actively involved in the land development and home buillding industry for over 20 years, George also contributes to several community organizations across the region including the CASA capital campaign and Valour Place.

Ryan Smith PRESIDENT: Dolce Vita Homes / InHouse by Beaverbrook Ryan joined Beaverbrook in 2010, leading the development of multiple projects including ONE at Windermere, Robinson, ONE at Keswick and West Block. Ryan has over 13 years of experience in the management of land development and construction projects. His strong financial background and understanding of the unique nature of mixed-use developments provides an exceptional skill set to make Dolce Vita and InHouse projects and teams successful.

As President of Beaverbrook Communities and Beaverbrook Commercial, Jodie provides leadership on all aspects of Beaverbrook’s residential and commercial projects. An Urban Planner with 25 years’ of experience touching on all aspects of land development. He possess excellent leadership skills, and is committed to community building. Jodie has served as an elected member of Edmonton’s Urban Development Institute and participated in numerous industry committees. He is also on the advisory committee of the Urban and Regional Planning Undergrad and Graduate program and several charitable committees centred around children’s health and well-being.

Stewart holds a Masters in Urban Planning and a BCom in Finance. Prior to joining Beaverbrook, Stewart managed a $100 million hotel real estate portfolio, and was part of a team that developed over one million square feet of retail, office, and mixed-use assets in the Edmonton region. Stewart’s responsibilities include managing and growing all aspects of Beaverbrook Commercial’s development portfolio.

Paul Fereday GENERAL MANAGER OF CONSTRUCTION With over 20 years of construction industry experience, Paul has managed mixed-use, mid and highrise residential, institutional, and commercial projects totaling over $1 billion in construction value. With P. Eng., LEED AP, and NCSO accreditation, Paul leads the construction and project management teams and is responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders through the entire lifecycle of each project.

Located in Edmonton’s highly sought-after Glenora neighbourhood on the edge of downtown, West Block is a 3.5 acre mixed-use site. Developed as an urban village with an active community plaza it integrates seamlessly with the surrounding community and future LRT. The current residential tower features a fitness centre, indoor/outdoor lounge area, multi-purpose flex room with catering kitchen and even an extra ‘hotel suite’ where residents can host guests from out of town.
