ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE We look forward to welcoming you to our second Members’ Weekend. Whether you are staying with us overnight or just visiting for the day, we hope that you will find this booklet of the planned activities, how to book & other tips helpful. WHAT IS IT

From first thing on Saturday 22nd September morning until 3pm on Sunday 23rd September, The Estate will be reserved exclusively for Members and on Sunday, for their guests also.

WHAT IS HAPPENING Throughout the weekend, we hope that you will enjoy participating in the many activities we will be showcasing. THE IDEA IS‌ On Friday evening, relax and enjoy the surroundings of Beaverbrook. On Saturday Morning, the real fun starts. Sharky & George are in charge of children so that Parents can enjoy a bit of grown up time. In the afternoon there are a variety of different activities for adults & children. On Saturday Evening, there is a special dinner and games for children ages 5-10 and a separate dinner for older children (aged 11+) allowing parents to relax & unwind at leisure at the grown up barbecue at The House. On Sunday, whilst children are busy playing games across The Estate, parents can partake in activities or just relax, before joining in the Family Grand Finale at The House. 2

FOOD & DRINK

Restaurants across The Estate will be open (to Members Only) for you to book as usual except for Saturday Lunchtime where lunch will be at The Garden House and Saturday Evening, when there will be a special Members Barbecue at The House.

MUST WE BOOK?

For activities where space is limited and/or arrangements need to be made according to the numbers attending, we would ask you to book. We hope that you will understand that the first come will be the first served.

WHAT WILL IT COST

Where there is a cost associated with running an activity and / or with bringing in specialist teams, this is clearly noted. Rooms & restaurants will be charged as normal.

MUST WE CANCEL?

All bookings will be charged to Members’ Accounts effective Wednesday 19th September. Prior to this, if you find that you are unable to attend, please just let us know so that we can offer your space to another Member. As encouragement to do this, No Shows for bookable activities which are free of charge will incur a £20 fee to go to the locally based Children’s Trust.
